LIFETREE CAFÉ
Lifetree Cafe is held at Meg's Daily Grind on North Alpine Road on Sundays from 7:00-8:00pm. Come join the conversation! It's a comfortable place and time for people to gather weekly to explore life and faith. It's the kind of place you'd typically meet a friend for food and drink and fun. Where the atmosphere encourages conversations, questions, and personal stories. The hour-long Lifetree Café experiences will feature real stories of real people, friendly conversation, time to build relationships with new and old friends, laughter, fun, spiritual insights, and opportunities to serve in the local community.

CARPENTER'S PLACE
Carpenter's Place is a ministry that serves the homeless of Rockford. On the third Monday ofeach month our congregation provides and serves lunch for approximately 100 people at Carpenter's Place. There is also opportunity to lead chapel, teach a Bible class, help with inventorying donations, collecting donations, or simply befriending the "guests" at Carpenter's Place-offering them encouragement and support.

WeSERVE
We aspire to serve ALL people in the greater Rockford area in tangible ways in the name of Jesus and with His boundless love. To this end we assemble and send out crews of people FREE OF CHARGE to households that have requested our assistance. This help might be anything from yard work, to painting, to cleaning, to minor repairs, etc.

APPALACHIA SERVANT TRIP
During the summer we send a team of people to Virginia. This team of people performs a variety of services depending upon the needs of the community at the time. DATES FOR THIS SUMMER'S TRIP ARE JUNE 23-30, 2012.

ROCKFORD RESCUE MISSION
Volunteers have the opportunity to work with the homeless at the mission.
ON JULY 22, 2012 WE WILL PROVIDE SACK DINNERS & AN EVENING WORSHIP EXPERIENCE FOR APPROXIMATELY 180 RESIDENTS.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Volunteers have the opportunity to help build homes for needy families and/or to volunteer to help at Habitat for Humanity's Restore Store.

LUTHERAN CHURCH CHARITIES
We regularly partner with Lutheran Church Charities to provide local (Northen Illinois) emergence assistance to families suffering from flooding, tornados, etc. This work is most typically salvage work, clean-up, and repair.

BASKETS OF HOPE
Every Thanksgiving and Christmas we gather names of needy families through Love INC. We then provide these families with the needed food items to be able to prepare a very nice Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.

SUMMER CHILDREN'S CAMPS

EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS
Mt Olive annually offer one or two Saturday seminars to benefits the lives of people of Rockford. These seminars can range from parenting, to marriage relations, to financial management, to estate planning, and the like.
